Thank you for visiting Ferndale Childcare. Ferndale childcare is a licensed in home daycare providing care to part time, full time and drop in children of all ages. We offer a well rounded daily experience.
We provide a preschool program during the school year with a wide variety of educational experiences including circle time, daily projects and fitness and wellness related activities. In a comfortable relaxed environment our kids are taught gross and fine motor development, cultural enrichment, kindergarten preparation, social skills and manners and the basics; alphabet, numbers, colors, etc…
We are located in Ferndale next to a large park with close and convenient freeway access for those parents working north or south of Ferndale. Our facility can be best described as a mini-center in a home environment. Our staff has very low turnover and has experience working with children of all ages.

As owner of Ferndale Childcare I have over 25 years experience working with children of all ages and needs. It is my goal to provide a comfortable, nurturing, healthy and educational setting for your child.
My educational experience includes a Child Development Associate certificate from Bellingham Technical College and life experience includes being the parent of a 15 year old.
I appreciate diversity and have extensive knowledge and experience working with children in all areas of special needs.
I also hold three current American Council on Exercise fitness certifications.
My previous community volunteer work includes serving as CoChair on the Whatcom Interagency Coordinating Council and serving as a support to parents of children with low vision with Parent to Parent of Whatcom County. I also organized and hosted an Alstrom Syndrome International benefit to raise funds for genetic research. Currently, I volunteer as a fitness instructor at the Whatcom County Family YMCA.

Our kids love all the craft projects!!! When the girls come home with crafts, it gives us a chance to talk about what they are learning at daycare. It is amazing how much they learn!
